Do you have a control on your line. When I first put my bubble curtain in the tank it was covering the top of the tank in a layer of bubbles. Then I got an air line kit from my LFS and was able to control the volume now it works fine and the fish love to swim through it.

Have you thought about penning your article on fishless cycle at the beginning of this section so more newbies could find it before they have some of the problems encountered with cycling? Just a thought. I would have loved to have had this information before I started then maybe so many fish...

Yes, it is a plec, but right now it is quite small. Hopefully it won't grow too quickly. Maybe by that time I feel confident enough to grow to a larger tank with it. I just hope the platy is doing all right. I don't want to lose everything again. i know i have to cycle all over. but I prefered...

Thanks big fish for your reply. The algea eater is pretty docile. He's more concerned with sticking to the glass than bothering the other fish. :rolleyes:
