I might get 10 gallon and divide it 4 ways. giving each betta 2.5 gallons. I need to know How many heaters I need? What to use for a divider? Do I need more then one filter? Where to place the filter?And any other advice you can give me. Thanks!

Ya the trough is like 200 gallons

Ya well around where I live a lot of people put goldfish in their horse trough. They keep the troughs clean. I have a friend that won a fish at the fair (I'm 13 thats why we are winning fish at the fair) and put it in his trough and it's like 2 feet long now. It even lives through the winters...

Haha. Weeelllllll...When they get big enough I am going to put them in my horse trough.

I do to thankyou for the tip on the melafix. I don't know if you have ever been to petco, but they have certain fish that they can't determine whether it's male or female because it is too young. So I bought it and it turned out to be female so yes I bought her as a baby.

I do have heater in all my tanks

I have owned bettas for 4 years. They don't need filters. They have a prehistoric lung and prefer no filters. I know that I am right. Things may be different in europe. I apologize that you have to get so upset about things. Later the goldfish will be in a ten. And no when I have set everything...

Like I said I only did this for a week they are now in a 5 gal. with a bubbler and filter. Ughhhhh

No lol. Do you know anything about bettas. I mean no offense, but if you did you would know that bettas have prehistoric lungs and prefer no filtration. And yes in the 1/2 gallon I was doing full water changes everyday. Goodness you obviously need some more experience.

no of course the half gallon isn't filtered they are bettas...duh. Anyway it was only temporary trust me I know I have had it happen before. They will beat each other up in the beginning. and I only had them in there a week they grew fast.

I use the 5 gallon for three small goldfish. I use 3 of my 1 gallons for my 3 males. I have 2 veiltails and 1 crowntail...

Ok sorry I left for 3 days not 6 and I have 8 bettas currently because I had 9 but I gave one of my bettas to my niece. I Had 3 bettas already. I bought 1 from walmart. 1 from petco. and 3 from petsmart. SO THERE lol 

As some of you may know my I left on a 3 day trip and forgot to put the three day feeder in my goldfish tank. And when I came home they were half dead... Well they all made it through the night.

No they were having trouble swimming and were half dead and the black moor has some small wounds..
