hi i have kept dwarf for years and i dont think i have ever had 2 in the same tank and they have been ok one has always killed the other unless you get away with keeping 2 females but that isnt cast iron. good luck

i have been reading up on my new puffer a fresh water topaz puffer, i have kept dwarf puffers for over 6 years but nothing like this fish, i read that you have to feed them things to allow there teeth to grind down or they will keep growing and get so big he wont be able to feed is this...

thankyou for the info, i have just rang walf quickly and he said hes 100% sure i can keep him in fw so untill i am told otherwise i will do so, any more advoce i would be grateful

hi peeps i am once again in need of your good advice, i was in walf aquatics yesterday and i saw a topaz puffer there was 5 in a small tank and it was in bad condidtion i couldnt help but buy it but my problem is i dont know to much about puffers at all, i have done tones of reading and asking...

you can also try putting a golden apple snail in your tank that will also eat algie well it does the job for me anyway B)

:fun: hey peeps im matt 22 from uk iv just found this site and it looks great from wht i have seen so far, i have kept fish for about 4 years now i keep 55 gallon tank neons x12 corys x2 puffer fish x1 plecs x2 gurami x4 apple snail x1 guppies x4 cherry barb x2 oh and loads of trumpet snails :huh:

yes id say it would be sound but it is just as cheap to buy some declorineator, i buy it and use it every time i add fresh water its pennies to buy around £2.00 a tub.

;) yes the little yellow thing is a indicator to when your filter sponge needs cleaning when the little yellow pipe is down it needs cleaning when it is up its fine but sometimes it bobs up and down.
