I loove seeing all the babies pics... its such a beautiful spawn ! I cannot believe 5 of my babies are leaving tomorrow. I might need to keep one of the boys along with a girl, I lurve them so much. I feel like they just got here. And, they're sooo happy, Male #2/#3 (who were originally girls ) have huge bubblenests going a few days after a WC >.< they love their little java ferns

I'm sorry. It's been hectic today and yesterday. I looked but did not see.

Are those Synirr babies? When did you get them? I really like Emerald. I just love that red in Synirr's offspring.

That's Cambodian red, am I right? He (?) is perfect with that substrate. Good job.

Tell us a little with the pics. I would like to see a couple more.

I got three main varieties of fish out of this spawn... dark reds with a little iridescence, red fins with iridescent bodies, and blue-grey redloss marbles. Some of the reds have lighter bodies than others, but I wouldn't go so far as to call them cambodian

I don't blame you dasauce but how long did it take for those girls to get there? I mean mine took almost 9 days... It was unreal but I think they should be alright.

She shipped Wednesday and they arrived today.

First off, yes, all of them are he's. I shall try to pos more pix, but not tonight.

OK time for pics:

Oh!!! I hit a glitch and will have to start all over. So I am going to post the pick of the pics. This is the one I snaped 80 shots for. Not that it's really worth all that. hehe

Soon as I put the three vases together, two fish found one another like they had magnets on their noses. Little Kentucky backwoodsers! Did you give these amourous children ANY sex education, maybe a couple of purity groups? Huh, Synirr???





The water is very murky from Atison's Spa (almond leaf extract.)

The other girl was a little weary looking and hanging her head, laying around the bottom. I sprinkled some Atison's Betta Starter. I remembered Synirr mentioned feeding this to the fry. Figured everybody loves reminders of an easier time. (They are so small, I thought they might choke on Hikari Gold.) I had planned to break their fast slowly, but the little one frightened me some. Soon as the beads hit the water, all three were to their feet.

I think it's awesome that we all have brothers and sisters!




BTW, My little blue-grey marble boy I am absolutely bonkers about. I'm supposed the move him into the 1 gal so two of my heftier boys can have the split 2.5, but I can't help but love the way he darts around the giant tank. Oh I am so far gone!!! He is flaring his tiny little gills at Carp. Awwwwwww, I have to say (no one tell anyone) Carp and this new little boy are my faves!!!!

DaSauce, I hope you'll try again... I'll use a bigger box this time, since that's the only thing that could have possibly been the problem . Hopefully it was just a fluke. The UPS store had better not run out of boxes this time or I'll choke somebody

Elise -- Sooo glad you like him, I thought he was adorable . I was thinking of keeping him myself, but I already have about 5 picked out and I don't need more than that

jollysue -- You just reminded me of some pics I took! I think these are actually two I sent you... they were flirting even before I got to tie their bags!! Love at first sight. It'll really be a case of kissin' cousins when I pair up two of the marbles, haha
