Whole tank shots with new camera

Since i've had a lot of requests for whole tank shots of my tanks i've finally got around to taking some.
The positioning of my tanks makes them difficult to take full pictures of but i've done my best.

i may have to scrap my budget bin liner background before i take any more pictures as it really ruined these two, but i'm not moving 200 gallons of water just yet to get them off.

40g, most of the fish in here are just growing out before they can be moved into the 200g

30g planted

This is Mr Hankeys home, its only a 20g so he is in desperate need of a upgrade now, but until i can afford to build the fish house it has to do, the lack of decor is because he likes to pick up rocks and wood and chuck them at the glass for attention so all he has is a broken resin ornament that the lfs gave me for free.

Snakehead tank, this used to be lushly planted with Cryptocoryns and dosed with CO2 but a cynabacteria outbreak destroyed everything. The tank is just about cleared of the cynabacteria now so i'll be planting it up again soon but may change the substrate to a aquatic peat before i do.

25g for aggressive fin nipping fish, the Exodons are the main focus of this tank but there are a few other nasties living with them like my murdering Leporinus and fin chewing dwarf giraffe cats

Not pictus cats, those would be a bit small to live with my fish. The fish you can see in the front are Pimelodus ornatus http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=34207

That tank looks way to small for 'Mr. Hankey' I think you should try and find some money to buy him a bigger one! You can get very cheap second hand tanks

aww Mr Hanky is cute... I don't know because I don't know what he is or how big he is, but couldn't he go in the 200gal? I'm loving your fish though, you have a nice selection - they are interesting fishies, not the 'normal' ones... I approve! Your ray is cute

Tanks arent the problem, i have 2 55s and a 75 sitting empty in the loft but have litterally no where to put them. I started work on building a fish house to house all my tanks and a few more months ago but then i got made redundant from my job and had to put plans on hold. Now i am working again but have a lot of debts to clear first before i can start plowing money back into fish keeping, the fish house is going to cost another £800 to finish and i cant even start putting that aside until i've cleared what i owe. I'm hoping to be able to start working on getting it finished by the end of September but we will just have to see what happens between now and then.

Only if i wanted all my other fish fried, Mr Hankey is a dwarf electric catfish and cannot be kept with any other living creature, even snails preffer to dry up on the carpet rather than stay in the same tank as i discovered when i introduced some malaysian trumpets to keep the sand turned over

Electric catfish are very lazy inactive fish which use their powerfull electric discharge to stun passing fish so they can eat them, so being in smallish tanks doesnt really bother them as they dont use the space in larger tanks anyway, the only time you will ever see Mr Hankey move is if food is being offered. But as they grow to around 2 feet in captivity even a 75g is considered to be a smallish tank so Mr hankey will definately be getting an upgrade once the fish house is completed.
