No need to be sad anymore...

Here's what I found this afternoon....
Had to confirm with BettaMomma that this is what I thought it was...

I have to say....
it's QUITE an amazing feat that he could even ever do this because it's very hard for him to get into a position for longer than a second or two where he can take breaths, let alone sit around and make a bubblenest.

He obviously loves his new home. :)

Wheee! That is exciting news! Grulla, please continue to keep us updated!

What a tough little guy... :)

I knew that coloring meant he was going to be okay. His color is WAY too good for a sick fish.

BettaMomma's right. In fact, even if he does lay down on the bottom of the tank, he can't even lay straight up and down, his body flops over to the side.....

He's such a little sweetie though.....

Hmm....
come to think of it, I guess I never posted directly into this thread about what we did for him last night and how he was, etc.

I think his issue is most definitely swim bladder problems.
She's got him on Maracyn 2 now, just to see if it's an infection that's messing w/his swim bladder. She's also gonna try peas once a day to see if that helps.

Even if not, I think he'll live an (very obviously :) ) happy long life, just as he is!
