Here are a few piccies from a recent visit to the coast. Its amazing what beauty I had just an hour drive away from me but have never bothered going until I have recently gotten into photography.

Comments welcome.

EDIT Sorry, my host wouldn't let me link them, more piccies below.

Transcendent. I like how in the first pic the foreground (waves and rocks) seems exposed to a different light than the backround (sunset). At least that's just from my perspective.

-_- I need to get a tripod.

LOVE the last pic you posted. Very romantic and whimsical... did you edit the photo? I love the way the water moving over the rocks looks silver! :kewlpics:

Absolutely Love them! Seriously stunning!

For some very odd reason, I feel like printing out the last photo as a card and use it next time someone dies  I'm just a bit weird today I guess

Honestly though, the pictures make me all warm and fuzzy inside and make me wanna go on holiday :p

Thanks everyone - Nospherith, I used an ND Grad filter to even out the exposure. It's an essential piece of kit for landscape photography. I also used a shutter speed of about 1/5th of a second to make the waves blurry, and had the camera on a tripod.

No image editing done other than cropping, resizing and sharpening. Oh and the borders obviously.
