I have been trying to get my red-tail shark in a picture for weeks on end, and this is the best one I could capture.

This is my blue gourami, not a very good pic, but it kinda shows how beautiful he is (he really is!)

This is my tank that is in SFOTM competition. This pic is fixed, I think its a little better, but not much. Mister gourami is up front!

I think this might be the best pic of my blue gourami. I will be getting a better camera soon...then I can take good pics when I get my 33 gallon.

I believe your Gourami is actually a Three Spot Gourami (2 spots and the eye = 3) Blue Gourami's are quite a bit blue-er than that and you can't really see the spots. Not to sound know-it-all-like or anything, but I thought my Blue Gourami was a Powder Blue until a week or two ago when Starry posted a BEAUTIFUL picture of her Powder and I compared it with mine......I can tell you that mine wasn't a Powder like the LFS lady told me it was so I did a lot of research on the internet and found out that mine was either an Opaline but more like a Blue (see sig. pict.)

Just thought I'd share!!

Well, I have always known the blue gourami to be the same as the three spot gourami. If you do a google search on blue gourami it will be the same thing.

Hey, thanks jamnog, I am very proud! Although that gourami can be a pain in the butt. All day today he has been chasing all my fishies around, even the red-tail! I wish I could just talk to the red-tail and tell him that he all to well knows he could kick that gourami's butt!
