here is my favorite fish of all time. it is a rather quiet fish until someone discomboobulates his tank. he is full grown. not a real voracious eater and beleive it or not has found a certain affinity to beer! i know it is cruel but sometimes i do feed him beer  everyone should get one of these fish! they make great companions and entertainment! this pic is one where he comes out of the tank looking for attention. kinda cute huh?!

thank you! i pride myself on the quality of my fish, even though it is lacking in this one in particular but i have done the best that i could with it.

trying to find a treatment for the baggy eye syndrome it seems to have as of late. think turning the lights off earlier will help out with that?

Lights out earlier.....I WISH!!!!!!

The funny thing is after semper and jeff left last night...all the lights were turned off for the night.

Just as I'm contemplating getting to bed early....the phone rings. It's one of my shops asking if I can deliver some fish to them after they close at 9pm....it was 8:40pm when they called.

Nothing like giving me advance notice!!!

Got to bed around 1am and up at 3:30 am for work!!!

yes this is a extremely rare fish gad. filtration is greatly needed since it can be very messy at times. also can get well over lengths of 72".

hey cichlid freak that was what we were originally going to do. did not think that no one would know what we were going for though! he could be larry larry of the forum!

Hi

A very rare fish indeed. Do you know it's latin name?

Is that the time, ready for my lights out.....

That's funny, I have a fish that's quite similar to that one. However, I don't think it's a fungal infection, I think that problem happens as the fish matures. Mine looks a bit younger, as it has only just begun to "recede". Something else I have noticed since I brought the fish home three years ago, it has progressively developed a swollen abdomen, and some unusual hair like substance on the dorsal side of it's body. Hmmm....
