Black color on Tail

When I first got Sangria he had a little blue/black at the tip of his anal fin (see picture). I just went over to him now and I noticed that it's a lot more than it is in the picture. I remember recently reading a thread (can't find it now) about how the tail turning black means something but I can't remember what. Something about fin rot I think? I just remember it wasn't good.

Now it's about double the size of what it is in the pic. Is this good or bad or just my imagination?

It's possible that it could be fin growth.

Fin growth starts out clear, and then gets color.

It doesn't look like anything is falling off but I'm not sure if I should be worried

keep in mind bettas have been known to change color to, userally after theri a whole year old but urs seems like juts new fin growth

Yeah I've noticed that there's this light blue color coming out more from in between his scales towards his back part. It's a lot more prominent than a month ago but you can only see it when he moves a certain way
