Lovely stuff.

Would you not even consider getting a few bunches of vallis for something for them to rest in or hide in? This way they dont get used to sitting on the bottom of the tank if they need to rest.

Just my 2p.

I actully plan on getting some pots and putting some plants in them. I will only have this tank like this for a couple of months and then I am getting 2 more tanks for raising up the Discus to sell. After that the tank you see now will be a fully planted show tank with wild Discus.

Sounds lovely, sorry I havent had a chance to read all of that DIY thread, just the first 2 and last pages.

Looks like a great project and I hope we see some lovely discus as a result!

Ben

Heres one of my nicer Discus.

Yeah they are awesome. I was told by Ryan that they whould probably hide and not eat for a week but that has been proven wrong by these little guys. He told me that if I paint the background white and have alot of light that the peppering would go away and by comparing the pictures you can tell that it did greatly.

Thanks everyone. I have waited about a year to get a tank this size and fish this nice and I am as excited as a fish keeper can be. :kana: :kana:

Yes and with alittle more hard work I can make some money of the fish I have and get more tanks to make some more money.
