I put my specific zip code and it’s showing that the hardness is 81 ppm. But my water is a lot harder than what it says.. what could that mean?that is pretty soft my friend
I use a mix of 50% tap water (I’m working with 16d of hardness) and 50% RO water that I buy from my lfs.
What are the other downside besides having to put things like pH up every time I do a water change.
maybe because you have something like rocks that will release hardness? limestone? marble?

your gh and ph need to go lower, that is kind of too much for a betta
