I’m not sure what could be wrong with her... she’s eating and acting fine. I do have a soft plastic barrier in the tank, I’m thinking she might of gotten stuck underneath

Out of curiosity, what’s the plastic barrier for ? I am no help with your fish as she looks fine to me , what’s wrong with her ? Just hiding all the time ?

I need to separate two of my fish, she was terrorizing one of my cory cats. Her face is a grey/white color

Ohh wow yeah I see now , ermmmm scale damage ? Cory are armoured and spine or yeah she could be determined to get through your barrier to the extent of damaging herself

Also her fins aren't red which is odd because they are always supposed to be red. Weird. Could be stress of being seperated?

It’s a redtail I think not a rainbow

Redtails always have red fins as well :). Seen a few in my LFS and they all have red fins.
I’m pretty sure they don’t could be wrong but I’m sure redtail sharks just have a red tail fin as were rainbow sharks have what you describe

Oh yeah you are right lol. My bad. Probably stress then

Check the water quality for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH.

Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.

Clean the filter if it hasn't been done in the last 2 weeks. Wash filter media/ materials in a bucket of tank water and re-use them. Tip the bucket of dirty water on the lawn/ garden.

Monitor the fish and see how it goes. See if it is rubbing on objects or acting odd. But if it's eating well and pooping normally, don't worry too much, it's probably just stress or nocturnal colouration and should clear up in a day or two.

If it gets worse over the next week, post more pictures.
