Is this betta fin rot?

Bettas are better kept on their own, something which so many shops don't seem to understand. My betta lives on his own in a 25 litre tank; the rest of my fish live in a 180 litre tank - though i also started off small with just a 60 litre tank, then things sort of spiralled upwards via 125 litres

If you want a fish to be truly happy then you have to try and recreate the conditions they choose in the wild, and for bettas that is living on their own. All of our pets get stuck with whatever conditions we inflict upon them - I think the least we can do is make that as natural as possible.
