I'd go with MBOU, I do love the look of those badis, perhaps try some pygmy corys instead of shrimp in that case? Would they be compatible?

No I was thinking Scarlet Badis and no shrimps, maybe amanos, but not cherries. I've got my red now so I'm happy :D

Tek oot.

I have Badis with shrimp, they ignore them, they're too tiny anyways to eat anything but the new born shrimp

OK, long awaited photos, don't have plants, not until I get better lights from PS3Steveo. So just hardscape for now, sorry to keep you waiting.

It's called FISH TANK GRRRR because I had trouble uploading the thing :/

Is there any reason you have not put the heater on the back section i.e. the red bit?

Are you planning to keep the water level low or fill it right up to get the full Edge effect?

Re: Corys, they cannot go in the Edge unless you keep the water level low.  I was advised they would, but as they go to the top to gulp air, all they did was go round and round like mad man looking for the air.  They were OK in it but in the end I decided to buy another tank, then another, then another...yup I now have MTS ;)

And with 'plants' lol

The pale green one down the front is HC, the dark one on either side is Lilaeopsis, the tall one at the back is Eleocharis, either acicularis or parvula and the ones behind the rocks are blyxa japonica.

So whaddaya think?

Dude that's awesome, starting to think I need more sand lol.

Oh btw the hemianthus is meant to come through like a river the two rocks on the left.

Bargain indeed, love it.  Mine is the burnt orange and it actually looks great in the kitchen.
Did you do the substrate and the plants?  What are you planning to put in it ~ maybe start a journal?
With the Edge, you'll either love it or hate it, "I used to be undecided but now I am not so sure"

Yes he has definitely. Lol.

TekFish - see how Royston has his heater, well that is what I meant.  Although, I now have a Nano heater and it just stands upright on the back.

Oh right I see. Yeah at an angle heaters work best, I put my heater on that side because I don't often look at it from the right, so yeah.

Do you think I could keep 4 Sparklings and 3 Badis instead of 3 and 2? There are only 4 Sparkling at my LFS so I don't want to leave one on it's own, and I wanted to get 1 Male and 2 Female Badis so I can attempt to breed them.
