ok :lol: onto plan C ive started this one and will add pics as i go into my briefcase
its 9x5 approx and will be raised 2ft and sunk 1ft a pal phoned me and offerd a load of broken slabs so hey free pond ,ill render the inside then double line ,a water fall will be added at the back and planting beds round the edges to help support the weight

That will look tops, thats the kind of thing I want to do, The only problem with being in the shade is it's really hard to get a good picture :rolleyes: :D
 
im onto the 4th course so only 12" high at the mo im going up 2ft then digging down in the center leaving a 1ft shelf ill go down maybe 12-18" so 3ft 3ft6 in total
as you can see im no bricklayer :lol: but as its getting renderd it makes no odds

ok new pics of progress so far named day 3 as you can see ive rough renderd some of the inside this was so im not wasting any of the sand /cement the final coat will be smooth finished up to about 16" now with 3 courses to go then ill dig out,uv filter and liner are on order so hopefully another week will see me done :kana: shame i gotta go work as well :/

reached the final height ,couple of days to set then smooth render and point up the outside gotta build the waterfall yet and planters before the liner goes in ,wadda ya think so far ? :look:

That fence will be ok ,look at my signature we have a fence on 2 sides of our pond and it still looks good. :)
 
old chap next door built the fence :rofl: its getting replaced with a new one in a couple of months but yeh it will help with shade and a few climbers will help hide it
