The coppers are considered crossbreed wild-types. The dark with red fins are actual plakats bred to fight, not for show. I get my shortfins from Chinatown here in New York City.

And they are pretty much in their "original" form. The fancy long-tails would not survive in the wild. Owning a shortfin is kind of like owning a wolf, but not as dangerous.
