the tank is in my dining room and ive just checked the temp, its on 68, so a little way to go yet. i think i will go for another 300w heater

i have just set up my 72"x24"x30" tank and i only have a 300 watt heater in there at the moment and its struggling to get up to temp. so i was wondering if anyone knew what size heater to go for?

ive brought some gloss black self adhesive vinyl for my fish tank and stuck it to the back of the tank today, i managed to get all the air bubbles out but looking from the front of the tank it looks some what dull and more of a blue/ grey colour. so im thinking of buying some more and stick it...

do you think i will get a better finish if i stick the vinyl on the inside then, will it not peel off?

ive recently brought 2m of black self adhesive vinyl for my 6ft tank but am thinking this is going to be challenging to stick, im thinking lots of air bubbles which would look unsightly. has anyone had a go at using this before or any tips would be appreciated, thanks

i think im going to go for black self adhesive vinyl, seems you can get a very good finish with this stuff and if i do decide to change sometime in the futurit wont be to much hassle to remove, what do you guys think?

hi, ive decided to re seal my 6ft tank. im going to use a stanley blade to remove the old silicone. im after some advice on which silicone to use. i know anti mildew is a definate no. ive heard i need to go for 100% pure silicone. any other recommendations or any no no's would help. has anybody...
