Yoyo loach breathing fast

Salt is fine for loaches as long as you don't overdose. Just follow the directions above.

If you don't want to use salt, try a broad spectrum medication that treat bacteria and fungus (don't use an antibiotic).

I used melafix yesterday. Should I put in pimifix today? I had it in fishy jail and it ate the food I put in there, but It hasn't pooped. I've been checking water parameters constantly. All other fish are OK. Even my other loach, except they aren't darting around the tank because the other is sick.
