I just got a white male with red fins, yet to be unnamed as he has severe fin rot and gill fungus. I don't name them unless they survive treatment. If he passes I'll have to run up to get refunded so they don't make anything off of him, heh.

sunset-because he's blue and orange/yellow like the sunset
scraggle-he's got red white and blue scraggled all over
sillk-when i got him he was pure silky white....(not any more! )
chamile-as in chamaelion. she often goes from stress stripes to horny stripes to no stripes...ALL the time
maggie-i have no clue why i named her maggie...she's the only fish i have with a normal name like that. it just seemed to fit her better than lil' ***** (which was going to be her name cuz of her attitude)

previous bettas-
cutie-(my first betta) i thought he was cute!
Cotton Candy Bubble Gum(CCbubgum)-he was hot pink and reminded me of gum
midnight-he was dark scary blue like the night time.
dragon-his colors were blood red and dark blue...it reminded me of a dragons darkness

My first betta was called Frankie - Frankie the fighter sounded a good name

The one in my avatar is called Storm - he's a VT with a black body and clear fins (not pink, as they look under the light)

I've got two others - Flame, a red CT (well, half a CT after he got beaten up by a female, poor guy)

And a blue/purple CT I haven't named yet
