are there still pie mash and liqueur stalls? they were few and far between when i lived in the east end, and that was 20 years ago! lol, being in Stoke Newington/ Dalston it was more Salt Beef and Bagels!

Try a bit longer mate, they used to come around the pubs with shell fish etc, yummy, As I was near Stoke Newington, my life I know where your comming from

lol, i remember the shell fish man/women. but, in my time, it was all pre packed. with a few exception. though i think they just emptied out the pre packs, into poly dishes and covered with cling film.

I live right at the bottom of Stanford hill, in the Georgian block just by the gates to the cemetery. lol, opposite the Egg Shop. and, if i remember rightly, an extremely good fish , mongers. brilliant Kippers!

And yes, I LOVE marmite, favourite is on hot buttered (not that awful margerine) toast

Oh, then it must be true and not opinion based.

I personally love it. Have been on a massive marmite hype the past couple of weeks. Have eaten 2 jars of it in around 2 weeks. Thinned out blood? I think so.
