Yesterday's photos of my silvertip tetras

I tweaked two of the best photos I took of my silvertips from yesterday's Canon camera session to make the colour pop out a bit more. The photos were a bit dark, but that's how they come out of a Canon camera, I suppose... What do you think about these photos of the male silvertips?

Both pics looks great. But the last one is better. Well, if you're too close to the glass and use a flash the surroundings can become to dark by the reflections of the flash against the glass.
 
You could try to make a picture without a flash but with a light above. I've got a Canon camera myself.
Good idea, I might try this in the future. The pictures from the session have become more clearer with practice, and the shutter speed matters (I now use 1/200s because it's a bit brighter than 1/350s for example) in terms of brightness.

Learning through play is often the easiest way to master it...
