Both boys in the same day. Unbelievable. 
The platy had clamped fins for a number of days but water changes didn't do anything. He would sort of be swimming on the spot like he was shaking his head. 
Rusty was just leaning against everything like he was tired. It's just awful to see them that way.

My heart goes out to you and your daughter. I only got Kasumi a week or so ago, and it would already break my heart if I lost her.

Thankyou for your kind words. I wasn't wanting to get another one but I did. The first thing my daughter said was will he die like rusty? I had to explain to her that everything that is born will die, it's the life cycle. She is a bit too young to understand that yet but there isn't any point in telling her no.
