Yay new tank

Got it fully filled and running now :)

I shouldn't really tell you the price as it's what the shop would buy it for...what the hell!! I paid £530!! if you were a customer expect to pay £650-700 i reakon..

The sizes below my tank were alot closer to the Juwel prices though.

Stop saying about the floor your going to make me paranoid!!

I don't like having 1 tank per fish but i certainly wouldn't like having 1 massive tank per 1 tiny fish!

Nice tank. I love seeing empty tanks, SO many possibilities. Getting my third soon (15 days and counting).

Great tank. I like where you placed your tank, near your bed. My tank in my bedroom is very near my bed, so I get to watch it if I can't fall asleep. And the cycling won't tank long either right?

For my new one I am torn between a marine reef tank with lots of live rock, crabs and snails and one maybe two fish or, an african malawi cichlid tank. Also may get a small tank and try and find some shell dwelling cichlids, though havn't seen any in my local lfs's.

Heh, it's the only place left in my room!! on the other side there's a 20gallon.

I hope not, I'm going to put an oscar in there tomorrow to get it going.

Yeah, decisions are so hard aren't they, I still can't decide on what other fish to have in there, I'm fine when it comes to plecs, catfish and loaches but can't decide on mid-top dwellers

one of the guys at work has a marine tank and the colours in there are amazing, fish are dead expensive though.

I brought home an oscar today to start up the tank!!

pretty bad picture!!

and some platties as he seemed lonely.

he seemed quite interested in the first platty that went in but they'ved been getting on fine.

Look at all that room for 3 tiny fish!!

the tank isn't going to stay like this it's just until the tanks matured a bit.

Cool, how big is the oscar, difficult to see from that pic  Is he gonna stay when the tank is cycled or is he temporary. Cant wait to see a full tank shot when your done aquascaping.

The oscars only shop size (1-2inch).

He's staying with me but his future home will be my 5x3 tank. I'ved justed sorted out the plumbing for that so in a few days when the silicon has cured properly I'll be filling er up!! oh and when my piping comes through the post.

Should hopefully be quite a site to wake up next to!! It's going to be stuffed full of wood for all my plecs and moderate planting!!

had the best pattern in the shop (imo).

heh, he should be out of there by the time he can eat the platties.

1 of them is laiden with babies ready to burst so he'l make a light snack of them.
