Yay - Minnows Spawning

Just Noticed the Males are spawning with the Large Female in the Water Violet and on the Java Moss.

Dont expect any fry as the Angel/Snails/Shrimp move in as soon as they have spawned.

Nice to know they like the environment.

Will try and get some shots later

Yep Gold White clouds, All the Males have Bright Red Mouths - Looks liek they are wearing Lipstick

I've just bought 6 Rummy Nosed Tetras, their faces are red as well. They certainly stand out in the tank.
Are your White Clouds the Vietnamese Minnows.

Nope - Just Gold White Clouds, Have got Vietnamese Minnows on Order.

Oh i haven't seen the Gold ones, perhaps a trip to the Lfs is in order.

I got six gold white clouds last weekend, and i'd never seen them before that.
I think they are

They are sooooo cute and they charge around with my danios, totally unaware that they're only 1/10 their size

I'm off to ask them to stay still now so I can check out their lips

Wendy, how much did you pay for them and where from. I've seen them on sale for 5GBP each in some places.

Also Noticed this morning while getting ready for work, the Lutino Danio is spawning with the 1 Female Gold Zebra, Again No fry or eggs expeced to survive due to other Tankmates.

The Kuhlis are going mad for the Eggs.

What supercool pickies but norty kuhlis!

I got mine from Attwoods Aquatics in Apsley (near Hemel Hempsted, Herts).
I think they were £10 for six - something like that anyway - NO WAY £5 each (though they are v v v v cute)
