Hi sir

You may remeber I got one of those a couple of weeks ago and a gold nugget. Seemed to be doing great and my gold nugget still is and loves my tank. However I noticed that the L264 seemed to be panting? breathing fast. Noticed this in the shop and mentioned it (lfs lady said they do this all the time and had been doing well for weeks (wasnt there the week b4 so thought LIAR)). Anyway such a nice plec I took it along with the gold nugget. goldie is doing fine but sultan died after three days of panting, cant help but think he was stressed to death. Any Idea? They have another sultan now and I LOVE that plec, should I give it another go? The one they have now is not 'panting' like the other was.

Do you mind if I ask how much it cost?

As jflowers mentioned, it's a sultan pleco, Leporacanthicus joselimai, currently about two inches long and cost me £25.

Nice plump belly and not panting!
