are you kidding me? i take offence to this to be honest, these are pure bred x.nezahualcoyotl and its a species of fish i specialise in, if you know anything about rare livebearers then i dont know how you've come to that conclusion, i assure you they are not in any way limia's, livebearer specialists like dunchp and helterskelter will confirm if you need it. if you want to continue this discussion post a new thread in the rare livebearers section, not in the classified section.

They may look like them at first glance but the large sword on the males gives it away.
These fish will not cross so their is at least no chance of them doing so.

thanks for that helterskelter. strange the similarities in fish. i could see they were legit as they have a latin name etc. just seems so odd to look at :) p.s jonny i wasnt saying they were anything but pure breeds.

no problem ladylouroll, no harm no foul.

regards,
jonny

I wanted half a doz but its too small amont to warrent the postage does anyone else in witham/colchester area want some and we could get one lot and split them. d i

Out of interest. How much is the postage please? What temp/parameters do you keep them at?

Hi weimester, postage in £7.50 for a minimum of 18 fish, they are pretty tolerable but prefer to be at 72-75F, they will only breed between these temps but if your not interested in breeding they will be fine between 69-78F. There ideal PH is 7.0-7.5 but i keep the majority of mine in my aquascape which has co2 injection, this of course means that ph levels fluctuate from 6.5 to 7.5 during the course of the day/night and they are fine with this, all in all they are very tough fish with exception to temps of 80F and above.

Regards,
Jonny

Good postage price...not sure what the last person was saying about it not being worth it?!? Sadly I don't have any tanks running at the low temps, I'll give you a nod in a few months hopefully

These can't be pictures of your X.Nezahualcoyotl, unless you let these websites use pictures of yours or these pictures aren't of your actual fish, I have found on google images 2 websites that have the same pictures as you on their site look;

And your point is?
Their good photo's showing what the fish look like correct?
These fish are very difficult to get good photo's of.

once again helterskelter is spot on. unless i remove the fish and put them in a viewing tank, which i appose of, there is no way of getting pictures this good, these fish never sit still in open water and therefore it's next to impossible to get this kind of quality picture. I did mention this in my original post and to get in touch if you were serious about a purchase but i felt there was too much info there so i decided to simplify the advert. I can't imagine why this would be a problem as my fish are next to identical and in my opinion much healthier. Please PM for future discussions like this as this is a classified thread, not a discussion.

Regards,
Jonny

I didn't want to offend anyone, I just wanted to ask if they were your fish & if not that you found the pictures on the internet. Not trying to start an argument
