Wow Has Anyone Seen These?

Just got 3 of these LED lights yesterday (A red, green, and a blue) for the 125G tank and 1 (Blue) for the 20! Got a hub for each too, these things look GREAT at night!!!!!!!!! Has anyone else seen these or use these yet??

I have seen them at the petstore and in magizines. Do they do a good job. Are they basically like moonlight, like will nocturnal fish come out if only these are on. Also how many do you think I would need for a 55 gallon long.

Not only will your nocturnal fish come out when they are on, its hard to describe how incredibly cool they look! They had them set up in a local fish store here in town, Id seen them on line and all and never thought much of them but after seeing them set up in an aquarium, I was sold on the spot. Basically in my 125G tank Ive got 3, each pointing down onto one of my rock structures, with a 55G I bet you could do 2 and it would look incredible. The blue and Green go very well togeather. Only thing to remember is that there are 2 things you'd need to buy for these, the lights, and the hub. Basically what the hub is, the lights plug into the hub (up to 3) the hub plugs into your wall socket. Paid $10 for each light at the LFS here and $12 for the hub. After getting them set up I can tell you, money WELL spent. Looks amazing

I forgot to mention too, the hub mounts on the wall behind the tank, one switch will operate all 3 lights, very cool!

iv got a set of these on my 180ltr tank, at the moment iv got 2 blue led's 1 ether side ..

they are good like , i found that if you set them so that the led is right at the water surface you get a nice ripple effect ..

I think id stick with one colour (preferably just the blue) but your tank, your choice. If you like it good

It just comes down to personal preference, I can see why some people would only want 1 color, than again for me, the fish look a little different under each color, I just find it cool to have all 3

I think your tank looks really cool with those lights! I would also have sticked with 1 color but again it's your tank. Wish I could pick some up but I've never seen them at my lfs.

Yea I've seen them in the Drs Foster and Smith Magazine they look pretty cool.
