I just recently added water to my newly setup tank and as some of you know I didn't think to rinse my LR off before putting it in the tank and a bunch of junk came off and is sitting on the bottom. A lot of it has moved under the LR so it seems I will need to remove the LR to take it out. Do you think if I put some pieces of mesh on the end of my vaccum that I can reuse the water since the junk will stay in the mesh since I would like to reuse the water since it's only a few days old.

I have a battery powered gravel vac from Hagen which sends the water through a filter sock before it goes back to the tank and was only £10. Might be worth a look.
