Would Like To Get A Lizard

A ful grown african giant land snail can weight 500 grams... And a snil that size- well lets just say it can eat a lot of salate, plus when two meet and pair both of them make 100 eggs. They can destroy a lot and more, and with a giant gene pool they never get tired of breeding...

i researched them on the net & its says they will breed & you can just put the eggs in a freezer for a day & bin the eggs
how many do you have to get for them to be happy
how much do they cost

i think i will put a post in the buy & sell on here & see if anyone got any eggs

You need just one for him to be happy, but you can have as much as you want if you have enough space. If anyone has eggs you are out of luck as it would be impossible to ship em in this weather... they cost about 10 - 20 $...

i would of through you need 4 to be happy
i think i will get 1 coz i have not got the space for more
how much is that in £ in that £7-18 ????

People are always tring to get rid of them. My local reptile shops sell fully grown ones for £5 and newly hatched ones for £1(he offered me some for free). You can get reasonable sized ones for a couple of qiud on ebay.

just called a centre & they said they have some they are about 2-3 cm how long will it let for them at be 20 cm

is there anything else which is easy to care for like a african giant land snail is :)

would not mine getting a bigger tank
do they like to live to there own or pairs
do they need a heater
how do you care for them
how much do they cost the food ect
are they friendly
are they good for a first lizard owner

is there anything i could keep in my 2 gallon uk tank like a frog ect :)

My friend recently got a leopard gecko, she keeps it in my old 4ft tank not sure how many gals? She keeps it on wood chippings with a heat mat, lighting (not necessary), has a couple of hides and was advised to feed it brown crickets rather than just mealworms as they get fat and lazy on mealworms which make a good treat or to fatten them up slightly),

She has had hers for a couple of weeks now and says he is doing fine....... She got the leopard gecko as he is one of the easiest to look after the one easier than that that can live fine in a warm room without heating was a bit too expensive to purchase as it cost approx £70 whereas the leopard gecko cost £45. Also leopards come in alsorts of colours etc..... My friend and I are hopefully going to start breeding them next year providing all things go well and we find out what sex hers is it was sold as Male but you can never be too sure until they're older

would like to get a lizard want to i need to know :D

or some thing low mainature :look:

Hi!! Lizards are easy to keep ive had a few. Started with a leopard Gecko & a Fat Tailed Gecko. These two are easy to keep. All you need is a u.v light bulb which use normal light fittings a heat mat for under the tank & then food e.g crickets & Locusts or mealworms, I have also had a Bearded Dragon these are by far the best to keep, the only thing is they grow to about two foot long!! it used to fall asleep on me whist i was watchin the TV!! :D
