Would a Bala Shark survive ina Brackish Fish tank?

Dont shark catfish grow to emormous sizes as well. I think it would be way too small for balas and shark catfish. Balas should be kept in groups of at least 3, I have found them to be sensitive at the start but when they get used to new surroundings they are as tough as old boots.

yes they grow huge... like upto a metre.

but they look so cool in the lfs at 3 inches

a 6x2x2 would be a bare minimum for those fish IMO

Have to agree with everyone here. Bala's do get very BIG. I have two in a 55 gallon and it is not enough room.

But red eye tetra's look very similiar on a much much smaller scale! In fact my red eye tetra loves pretending he is a bala shark, although he is about 6 inches smaller than them. Its cute
