Worms?

They're white, thin as a hair, and largest one is 1cm. Theres about 5 to ten that I noticed(they're all in one place pretty much) but could be more. They move by getting shorter than getting longer in the direction tehy want to go. Please help. Will they harm the shrimp or me?

Without a pic it's hard to tell what they might be, but my guess would be Planaria which are not harmful to either your fish or you.

Hmm, thanks. Looks like they are planaria, they're climbin on the glass and it is a relatively new tank. Thank you.
