LOL That's outstanding, stiffler! Lovely family. Watch out! Cory babies are very addicting.

Thank you, drewry. Now I can see why everyone is ooh and aah.

They are just so darn cute at that age.

Are you going to move them to their own tank soon? Eventually you're going to have to.

Have you named each one yet? :p

lol thanks everyone i was using photobucket to host them not sure why it wasnt working for some people ill have to look into it, no names yet lol, the tank they are floatin in is set up just for raising corys problem is i have 8 left from the last batch still in their about 6 weeks old so dont want to be mixing them to young, i hope to be moving some around later so that i can just release them into the 30 litre for them to grow out in.

Thanks for the replys they are great just want my blacks to give me some now lol

I really wouldn't worry about mixing the fry with the 6 week old ones as that's what I've done with mine. They seem to get along just fine. The old ones tend to ignore the young ones to the point they sometimes just swim through them. I've never seen them attempt to eat them.

I suppose that's how it works in the wild so why wouldn't it work here?

Comments from the senior members would be appreciated.

Yeah im going to mix them but im going to wait a few days until the yokes are fully absorbed and they are developed a little more.

Quick question for though, how come some of the young absorb their yokes fast and others seem to have it alot longer than some of them, the majority seem to have absorbed their yokes but their is still a few who have quite a large yoke any ideas why is their something wrong with them or is this just naturally what happens?

hi stiffler
maybe some develop faster than otheres in the egg and start to feed of it just before they hatch :dunno:

Drewry's right about that.

You'll also notice that some grow faster and bigger than others and there will be colour variations.

It's all about genetics.

Isn't this fun? :)

All the pics are working now--at least on this computer.

I don't know about the yoke sac deal either.

Hi. Beautiful little ones! :good:
Mine wouldn't give me any eggs... I only have a pair. I don't think she likes her male.

I hope they do well for you. Please add more pics as they grow. I would love to see them.
