I upgraded tanks from a 10 gallon to 20, but the tank came with gravel and decorations already in it (it was a used tank) so it would have been a huge hassle to tank everything out and replace with sand. I'm not 100% sure if this is the same gravel, but it looks like it.

It doesn't feel like, sharp, but it has edges kinda. So it's not perfectly smooth but it's also not something you can cut your finger on. It's edgy but not rough, and has a slimy/soft feel to it, and they're only about the size of a pea. Do you think my little corys will be okay on this? I have a couple of shells, smooth rocks and live plants for them too.

If it were me, I'd change it. Your corys' natural behavior is to dig through the sand, they will be happier that way!

I got gravel in my tank with corys and i had no problems with it they seem more interested in my bog wood and tree

I used to have cories in a tank with gravel I changed to sand they act a lot different and started breeding they are much happier

yeah they loved burrowing in the last tank and I think i might consider moving them back and maybe buying a beta to live with them. I have the filter and heater but the old media is in with the new media and new filter so I'll have to wait for my new tank to be cycled. But I'd really rather have them be in the bigger one cuz all the fish seem to be so much happier with the new space.. plus, a bonus with the gravel is my plants won't keep getting uncovered and floating up. the corys would always do that since they like eating off the plants and such. I was trying to upload a refernce pic but i can't get it to work atm...

Ahh, I'm just not sure
