Need a little more information than that. ;-)

Different tubes emit different colour spectrums, and depends on your aim. Do you just want to light the tank? or highlight the fishes colours? or improve plants growth?

Do you have plants?

Do you already have a lighting unit that takes that size T5 lamps?

yes have the arcadia i-bar wich does 1500mm tubes.
was told that for plants we should get one between 2000-18000 kelvins which this fits..
there will be plants in the tank

I would post this in the plants section. 2000-18000 is a very broad range and covers loads of the bulbs. I normally look at the colour spectrums of the bulb to see the amount of red and blue it provides, which is tricky to do on that one. See what the plant people have to say!

Cheers and good luck.,

Colour temp/Kelvin is not important. The plants dont care.
You want red and blue wavelength peaks in the spectrum. Simply put, full spectrum bulbs. Easy to find by choosing triphosphor bulbs.
Colour temperature is up to you. Personal choice.

Fully agree with RadaR's statement there. I've seen this sort of conclusion in many TFF discussions and read it from other experienced planted hobbyists in other forums. WD
