Im not too sure about phantoms, but I know with anything nippy/territorial it's good to add them last, so they don't feel that they have to ward off any newcomers.  Also, if you can get all 8 pandas at once, it will really help to get them shoaling ;)

I would say at least a week in between should be good.  I would start with the platys or cories. :good: post pics!! and you should start a journal in the planted section so we can all watch :)

If you do a fishless cycle, you can theoretically add them all at once.

BUT, I'd suggest you start with the platies and phantoms...  Wait about two-three weeks, just for things to settle in and mature the tank a bit more, and then add the pandas.  They are a bit more sensitive than the other fish, so a more mature tank will help them a lot.  Then add the apistos at the very end, about a month or so after the cories.

Awesome I think I'll go with the Platies first then, then the cories (all at once of course :) ), Tetra and finally the Aspistos as I am getting a pair and expect them to be rather territorial.

On the Journal side of things, I did start one last night! But can't seem to find it :s still new here haha :p Many many many pics as I have an iPhone and the quality isn't too shabby! :)

Awesome, I'll stick with that then.

Sorry, didn't read your reply until after my response above :p

No worries.  I haven't known phantoms to be that nippy, but if you are concerned about them, you can always trade them out for harlequin rasboras hardy little fish and docile as anything.

yeah might end up doing that. Fortunately I have a good relationship with my local store and they will certainly take anything (plants or fish) back that doesn't work out. So with that as reassurance I'm keen to try out the phantoms first, but thanks for the suggestion

On a side not; I've just started a journal for this tank and have a tonne of questions, if you could give that a read I'd be stoked, cheers
