Ive moved my betta into a breeding net type thing, it looks okay, ive put him in here because one of the other fish(okay its the molly) has been having a go at his fins, will he be okay on his own in his little net?

I think a small net in a bigger tank is better then just a small bowl - he can get all the benefits of the larger water volume even though he is in the confines of a small area. Is this going to be permanent, because I would remove the offending fish so that the betta can still have his tank.

I agree, get rid of the nipper

A breeding net is no where to spend the rest of your life :/

suppose i could do some switching and put the bad nipper fish i the net....lol. im going to leave the betta in the net for a while and let some of his fins grow back, then i'll put him back in with the other fish and if that silly molly keeps eatting him, he can go back to the shop!! before the black molly died, the white one was peace, calm but when he died she took on the role of bully! strange really. thanks everyone for the help! :)
