Yes. As I see it the first number is the upper limit for the filter e.g.: 103 for 100l, 203 for 200l and so on

And the last number is the series of filter 3 being quite old and think we’re on 5 now.

I was looking at a 304 for the same size tank this is to over filter with a 40something you could in theory over stock your tank over a period of time. Like you would a Mubuna/ Malawi set-up

oh crap!! i meant a 304 LOL !!
 
i know some one with a 403 knocking around...
 
304 is fine run it along side existing filtration for 3-4 weeks trasfuring some media over bit by bit watch the NH and NO levels and you should have a nice smooth transition.
