Shut it, Minnnt. I had Red Wags which were nice too. Sunsets ARE pretty...but I liked the effect of the Reds against the dark and green. I have awful luck and cant buy healthy fish or I'd be getting some platies after reading here You should go get some reds and when you don't like it, Minnt is about to rescape and could use them

yes im dosing ferts EI method with good results so far for a change.....

with my substrate its very difficult to see any poop and with the plecs and even the rams whizzing about it all gets broken down anyway. i know what you mean though about the messy look.

please dont try and make me change my mind again as i may be heading of to maidenhead tomorrow to get some

are they pencil fish? very nice but just the right size and shape for an angel snack......

Yeah theyre coral red pencilfish. Only grow 1.2" so might a little temping for the angels alright.

ive just returned from a quick lfs tour and came back with 10 pure red platys, who says they need to be rare or uncommon i think a platy was the first fish i ever bought all those years ago so its nice to have a few more. they had some stunning coloured varients available but red is what i wanted and red is what i got no markings or patterns or even any black in the fins etc just good old pure red platys.......

ill get some pics up soon although im sure you all know what a red platy looks like

oh yes red they are and they have added so much colour to the tank....

i only wanted 8 but it was 10 for £10 so it was like getting 2 free

did i mention that they are red?
