I'ma newcomer to this site, and to buying, maintaining and managing the fish world.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all the help and advise that you have given me so far. I find it so helpful when someone has bothered helping, writing, investigating and "being bothered" to answer questions or put their comments in. :D

Very much appreciated.

Also, why are these threads so addictive? I thoroughly enjoy reading comments that have been made and find that I have been on this site for longer than I intended. :D

kEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

that's a good question, as soon as I get home from school, I walk my dog and then check on my fish and then go on the forum

i'm also addicted :hyper: and have gained so much with the good advice i have received. thanks all

Well just having a fishtank and some fish is not all of the hobby. Learning about your pets can become almost ranked higher than having them.

i think that they are so addictive because there is always something new to read about and just about every post is different so there is not much repetiton

Yeah, it's definitely addicting because it's so interesting! I check it out in the morning and at night, and I'll stay hours and hours reading. It's cool cause you learn so much for future reference and the people are just so great! :D

This place is wicked!

Yep, just like to say that although I haven't posted yet it doesn't mean I don't take everybody's "free" advice!
Definite newbie, and the information that I have found on here has helped me avoid some of the biggest "nightmares!"
Bought my first tank literally six weeks ago, but am already preparing a bigger tank ready for some more fishes....
Everything has been going just fine up to now and have only had one casualty, put that more down to "stress" than anything I have done so just like to say a big

THANK YOU!!!

Rob

Great to get other appreciative comments. :flex:
