I've got a thick coating on my rocks a think coating on my glass and a thick coating in my sand
love it
the fish like it and it makes the tank look more natural. I tried growing it out as a background didn't wipe the back glass for several months but didn't work like I wanted, too bad eh, I've got a rock poster background now instead
I don't have any algae on the glass because I have a Common Pleco and A Golden Apple Snail. I do have some green algae on an ornament and I am going to leave it there in case the Pleco or snail want to eat it.
yep but not too fussed as you said algae looks quite nice on my logs and rocks and my plecs love eating the algae anyway so i encourage a little algae growth. the only time i do something about the algae is if the front glass gets a little too much on it or i get blooms in the water which discolors it.
