hey, want a Golden Ram I'm waiting for to move onto "fishie heaven" ?

my tanks are fully planted now so there is minimal algae.
Plus i don't care if it grow, my b'nose's clean it off by the next day

DD

A little is normal. I don't get algae problems.

I think people are too quick to moan about agae and too quick to put algae eaters in the tank rather than pinpointing and tackling the root of the 'problem'.

I agree with this. I'm trying to get my balance right between plants/light/co2/fertilisers and algae. It's a nightmare, but I hoping when I get it right I will only suffer minimal quantities if not any algae.

i vote no....a little algea doesnt bother me but i hate the hair algea....anyone got tips on how to get rid of it(not completely just get rid of most of it....and naturally no chemicals and no fish suggestion as i have no more room in my tank)

Algea doesn't bother me, but then again i do have my clean up crew so there is hardly any anyway

I clean the front glass so I can see in the tank.

I don't mind a bit, that's natural and is good. But when it gets out of control it's a nightmare.

I dont mind a little bit but when it it gets too much i hate it

I voted Nope. I only had a little algae in my tank & went and returned my false BN (bought it from Petsmart, was actually a common) for 3 Oto's. They did such a good job now I have no algae at all & they don't really like my wafers -_-

So now how do I get more to grow? :D

Its a 20 gal community tank with 4 Mollies, 4 Guppies & 3 Oto's. The oto's are such cute little buggers.

i dont know about growing more algea but for the otos u can drop in a piece of zucinini...mine love it....make sure u attach it to a stone so it stays down and in the smae spot for easy removal
