What I don't get is y education institution make ppl study a dead language.. yes I get cuz of the scientific names..
Isn't about time they give up on this language and find another way for scientific names.. I'm really..
You can not learn a language if u cannot use it.

I learnt Latin in school. It’s actually very beneficial if you want to learn any of the Latin based languages, Italian, Spanish, French etc. it gives a base to all

Oh yes, forgot to mention which languages I speak other than dutch. That would be english, german (I live nearby the german border), some indonesian (I understand it better than speak the language. Although I can manage myself excellent in that language), some slovak, some czech, some spanish, some italian and some arab. I've travelled a lot and have tried to learn the local languages. And I myself am from a mixed background. I'm from an indonesian, dutch, german, french and portuguese descent. Maybe that's why I do love to learn from other cultures and languages.
