I have discovered several white worms, squirming along the tank and swimming like water snakes through the water...should I be concerned? Could they be parasitic or could they possibly be good eats for the fry down the road? I know there are lots of little buggies for them to eat...they've been skimming the surface all day, but the worms are just disgusting! Any thoughts?

Are they pretty small? They're probably what I believe is called planaria... they're little worms who appear when food is in excess. I always find them in my tanks. If you want to get rid of them you can quite feeding for awhile, or majorally cut back, and they'll eventually die off. Otherwise they're not really anything to worry about unless they're in huge numbers.

julie's right,it's probably planaria & nothing to worry about,I've only seen two in my tanks ever (touch wood) but I'll agree....they're nasty  ,flipped me out the 1st time I saw one
