White Spot

i did have 8 x Hatchet fish but lost all but 3 in the last 3 days and no bones?

If they died, the other fish would have eaten them, leaving no traces.

i have not had white spot for 2 years in this tank with the same fish?

The fish are getting bigger now which is creating a bigger bioload and possibly more aggression. Having an overstocked tank can cause the fish to become stressed which in turn, will cause things like whitespot.

my heater is on max but only on 84f it is 200w heater and no probs with it till i got the new filter its a fluval 305.

84 should be fine as long as you start using the meds. Make sure you remove the carbon before treatment.
How long have you had the new filter and what filter were you using?

it a fluval 305 and it been running for a week.i think this was the corse of the white spot?

Did you run your old filter along side it or use the media from your old filter?

no i was told to just run the new filter by the pet shop. i know it was wrong now my falt.
