Tankmates: 1 glofish tetra, 1 betta fish, 1 otocinclus

I've noticed over the past 3 days or so my Blue glofish Tetra has a rather large white bump right before his tail. He has been swimming and eating as regularly. I've been doing daily 25% water changes in hopes it could help. I'm unsure if I should be medicating the tank with fungus clear or something else. I am just nervous because I have a betta fish in this tank that seems perfectly fine, but I know they are not able to handle a lot of the medications offered out there.
Any advice helps!

Hello and welcome to the forum! :hi:

I am not going to even start on the tank stocking, that is for another time...

Do the blotches on the fish seem fuzzy? Or under the skin? Are other fish showing similar symptoms?

How often do you perform water changes, and how much at a time? What are your water parameters?

We do need answers to questions above. Can you get a closer pic of bump for us, please?

I know I do not have the proper tank stocking....I lost one of my glofish about a week ago. And another one about a month ago. NO one told me they are supposed to be kept as schooling fish - in numbers like 5, 6 etc. This is just my current situation right now. I want to be able to treat my one tetra and betta and then move my betta to his own tank and get some more tetras to keep the one blue guy company.
There are no blotches. It is the one big white bump right before the caudal fin. It does not appear fuzzy.

I do a 25% water change weekly. But since I have noticed this bump on this guy I have been doing 20-25% WC daily.

White patch before the tail is often a sign of a disease called colimnaris - did the other fish that died show the same thing?

The other fish had some torn/missing some fins. I had posted a picture of him too on another fish website and we weren’t really able to identify what the fish had. I was told to treat the entire tank with some aquarium salt but I still continued daily 25% WC and didn’t add anymore salt and he still died. :(

So did the other fish that died show similar symptoms?
