So decided on a 25 wawtt heater with ythermoter. That filter on the ebay link (1st page) a condensation tray with a hinge to lift up. Argos play sand and ornaments and bogwood. No light. Sound good??

Yeah lights are only neccesary if you have plants, as long as there is some nice natural light in the room it should be fine.

If using for a quarantine/treatment tank, you might want to re-think the bog wood. It could be difficult to clean between inhabitants.

i have a bare bottomed tank, with a few easy to scrub platic plants and that is it.

Okay no bogwood and would a "no fishing statue with an octupus be okay or maybe thinking of buying 2 0r 3 silk plants. Okay so done a 1 part bleach 20 parts scrubbed all with a sponge. Then was off the bleacghy stuff emptied it and so on about 5 times now i've filled up with the hose half full and gpnna leave it for a while. Okay?? Ordering filter and stuff on weekend and dads gonna get polysterine and condensation tray. Think of anything else i'll need. PLus about bare bottom nick i dnt like em and i've always wanted sand so heres my chance all. + Nick has found YET ANOTHER TANK at the tip and said they come in every day normally so i think i can make some $$$$$ out of selling them to friends family, ebay etc. Haven't got it yet but he's bringing it to to mums cafe tomorrow morning so i'll post piccies after skewl. Thinking a betta if small...hehe.

i got another hexagonal shape tank free today and sold it already to a mate for £30!! inc light filter heater lid, algae scraper net etc. and a bag of gravel. now i have to clean it for him and then show him how to 'keep fish'
