yes that filter comes with every thing as i brought one bk in may for my 2ft tank it works great in there comes it really clean but i dont use the spray bar as its to much for my fish lol
 
it varies depending on the mood, i normally pay at leat 60% of the cost becuase i want the lfs to stay. but i cod get 30% off i cod get 70% off

1. Put in filter.
2. Put in sand.
3. put in heater
4.etc lol

whatever u want.
id do sand
let it settle so it dont just go into the filter
then filter and heater.
thats me though
 
When I got a complaint about the content of this thread I just edited it. Next time I will put members on mod review.

The filter will be placed near the top of the tank, so no worries about it sucking up the sand.

The water cleaning happens in 2 phases:

Biological cleaning by a sponge
Chemical cleaning by a special active carbon

i noticed this too. dump the carbon and a course sponge instead. or just add more bio sponge. personally, i would use this as a mechanical filter, and add a air driven sponge filter for bacteria. a little air driven bubble filter will cost £2 or so plus the cost of the air pump.
 
I'm confused .... can't i just kieep it how it is? Or will that be bad. I'll just take out the carbon when i have medicines. Also whats the difference between mechanical and bioligical i know chemical as u have to repalace and once the carbon runs out or whatever i just wont get a replacement.
