Which Ram is this?

So I just purchased some fish and without realising the guy who served me put in a Ram by accident in the bag. I think it's a blue German ram but I am not sure. Can someone clarify this for me? Much appreciated.

Looks like an Electric Blue Ram to me.

Looks to be an electric blue orange head ram. So the same species as the German blue ram, Mikrogeophagus ramirezi.

Judging by Google I wouldn't get away with keeping him in a 25c tank?

Looks like a German Blue. What is a 25c? They like hot water around 85 Fahrenheit or 29 Celsius .

25c = 25 degrees Celsius.

As mentioned, the species is Mikrogeophagus ramirezi, the common or blue ram, which has several man-developed variants but it is the same species. And as also noted, it needs warmth, at least 27C (80 F) but a bit warmer would suit it even better. However, not all other "tropical" fish can tolerate this permanently, so you need to assess all the species in this tank.

I agree with all. It's an Electric Blue Ram, similar to German Blue Ram but different colour.
It has nice blue colour that will glow in the dark.

You need warm and soft water for your tank.
