Hi I was wondering If I could use flagstone in my aquarium since I have a landscaping company I have lots of smaller pieces around. Thanks

I use the good old Vinigar drop test to see if rocks are safe to add to a tank

This basicaly involves placing a drop of vinigar on the rock, and watching to see if it fizzes or just rolls off. Fizzing is not good, and means the rock cannot be used. If it just rolls off, give a very good rinse under the tap, and add to your tank. Some advise sterilising fist, but I have never bothered and seen now ill results through not doing it
